The Spanish edition of National Geographic included the city of Havana among the top 15 cultural trips proposed for 2019. With the slogan "destinations to experience culture in the first person", the publication places the Cuban capital at number two.
“A challenge for any traveler”- is how Havana is described in the National Geographic, a magazine that specializes in nature, history and attractive experiences around the world. The 500th anniversary of the city and the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema are two of the suggestions to attract lovers of history and cinema.
"It's a city that is made and unmade every day. Old Havana is in constant movement, there are small entrepreneurs everywhere, surprising palates, and music, lots of music, "says the National Geographic, in a note that is inviting travelers not to miss the opportunity to enjoy the Island.
